Cable Force Determination Using Phase-Based Video Motion Magnification and Digital Image Correlation

چکیده

The mode shape-aided method provides a simple and effective way for cable force determination, which, however, requires accurate parameter identification of the structure. This paper proposes phase-based video motion magnification to process image sequences cable. Digital correlations were engaged measure dynamic displacement–time history, through tracking surface characteristic features Thereafter, frequency–domain decomposition technique was applied extract natural frequency shape from history measurements. identified shapes, along with tensioned pinned-pinned model, used estimate force. accuracy proposed methodology subsequently verified laboratory testing on an inclined model field typical hanger real-world arch bridge. Overall, study results indicated that could expediently cost-effectively tension forces reasonably acceptable accuracy.
